Introduction

The WiZZ.to Travel Guide project is creating an online travel guide for the whole world, with information provided by local organizations who know their area.

 

We connect local tourism and travel websites using maps, making it easy for travelers and tourists to plan their next holiday, vacation or weekend away.

 

We invite destination websites to partner with WiZZ.to and to grow the WiZZ.to Travel Guide to be the most trusted and independent online travel guide for any traveler, to anywhere, anytime.

 

Partnership details

The following list shows how your destination and your website can benefit from a WiZZ Partnership:

Free Priority listing in the WiZZ.travel directory: Your listing will also be copied to the WiZZ.travel directory, a companion site of the WiZZ.to Travel Guide Your Priority listing will be the only listing shown on the WiZZ.travel directory page for your destination. WiZZ Custom Search Engine: The WiZZ.to Travel Guide has its own search engine (powered by Google Custom Search) which indexes all the content of our website, including WiZZ Partner "Mini-sites", and other details submitted All content of Premium WiZZ Partner websites is also added to our Google Custom Search Engine	search more info
Google map of your destination: A Google map will automatically be added to Premium WiZZ Partners' Mini-sites where available	example
Add your RSS feed to your WiZZ.to Mini-site: Premium WiZZ Partners can add a RSS feed of their website to their Mini-site on the WiZZ.to Travel Guide This adds the last five entries of your RSS feed to your Mini-site, and automatically updates so the Mini-site is always fresh and up-to-date Adding a RSS feed gives WiZZ Partners the opportunity to publish their latest information without having to go through the submit, review and update process	example more info

Note: Some features are permanent, and those marked as not permanent can be renewed every year.

Destinations

Your destination can be a town, region or country, but your website needs to provide comprehensive information for the traveler or tourist, including as a minimum, accommodation and attractions in your area.

WiZZ Partnerships are not for sites dedicated to one attraction or hotel for example, they can be submitted to the WiZZ.travel directory.

 

WiZZ.to countries or regions are not always what you expect: for example every state of the USA is treated as a separate "country".

Or regions in the United Kingdom are not necessarily based on county borders, because they realign their borders on a regular basis.

 

WiZZ.to maps however will help our visitors find the area they are looking for.

 

WiZZ.to visitors have three ways of finding the place they are looking for:

 

• They can just use the maps (no need to know place names), or
• if they know the name of the place they are interested in, they can use the menus provided, or
• they can search for destinations, and for names of other attractions, towns, landmarks etc.

Standard partnerships are US$2.95 (convert - popup).

 

For a yearly fee of only US$24.95 (convert - popup) Premium WiZZ Partners enjoy these additional benefits:

• Accommodation information: backpacker hostels to luxury hotels.
  One of the main reasons people visit WiZZ.to is to plan their holiday or trip and to browse any available accommodation.
  (Accommodation information can be provided by you or by a third party.)
   
• Commitment to bring the best possible tourism and travel information for your area.
   
• A willingness to work together with other partners to provide quality information for all WiZZ.to visitors.
