Introduction

The WiZZ.to Travel Guide project is creating an online travel guide for the whole world, with information provided by local organizations who know their area.

We connect local tourism and travel websites using maps, making it easy for travelers and tourists to plan their next holiday, vacation or weekend away.

We invite destination websites to partner with WiZZ.to and to grow the WiZZ.to Travel Guide to be the most trusted and independent online travel guide for any traveler, to anywhere, anytime.

WiZZ Partnerships are only for destination websites with local information for tourists or travelers, and WiZZ Partnerships are only for those destination sites that cover the whole of a WiZZ destination.

The following list shows how your destination and your website can benefit from a WiZZ Partnership:

Destinations

WiZZ.to uses data supplied by governments all over the world, and applies the same criteria in every country to determine a list of destinations in each country. Our criteria are primarily based on population numbers.

Maps are then produced per country and per region, to help WiZZ.to visitors find the area they are looking for.

WiZZ.to countries or regions are not always what you expect: for example every state of the USA is treated as a separate "country".

Or regions in the United Kingdom are not necessarily based on county borders, because they realign their borders on a regular basis.

WiZZ.to maps however will help our visitors find the area they are looking for.

WiZZ.to visitors have three ways of finding the place they are looking for:

They can just use the maps (no need to know place names), or
if they know the name of the place they are interested in, they can use the menus provided, or
they can search for destinations, and for names of other attractions, towns, landmarks etc.

If you want to represent your destination in the WiZZ.to Travel Guide and provide the best possible tourism and travel information for your area through a user friendly website, WiZZ can help you to achieve your objectives.

To make sure that all our partner websites complement each other and provide the information WiZZ.to visitors are looking for, a partner website should meet the following minimum requirements:

Minimum requirements for partner websites.

Information for the whole WiZZ destination you want to represent.
Explanation of the main features of your destination: Let people know why your area is worth visiting.
Accommodation information: backpacker hostels to luxury hotels.
One of the main reasons people visit WiZZ.to is to plan their holiday or trip and to browse any available accommodation.
(Accommodation information can be provided by you or by a third party.)
Commitment to bring the best possible tourism and travel information for your area.
A willingness to work together with other partners to provide quality information for all WiZZ.to visitors.

Partner websites should be designed and operated to maximize information about the area for visitors, and to provide an opportunity for all local travel and tourism operators to advertise their ventures.

WiZZ Partnerships are not for websites which are only designed to maximize the revenue from third party advertising and affiliate programs, but which provide no detailed and useful information for visitors.
